I'm passionate about educating others on Nutrition and how it impacts health. I also love to ballroom dance and waltz around the dance floor~! I've combined these two passions at the Hawthorne Holistic Health and Community Cultural Center where we have combined both nutrition education and ballroom dancing in one location (at 4707 SE Hawthorne). Come join us for some educational information on how food can heal, eat some great healthy organic food, then dance the night away!

We also have office space for lease for you to promote your healing art, or offer classes (in a beautiful bamboo room) and are interested in starting an organic food buying club, as well as hosting kids birthday parties through puppetry and giving children a wholesome message (rather than you need the latest and greatest gadget to be complete). We'd like to expand the cultural center to fill all sorts of needs within the community - so bring your skills, arts, crafts, coaching, business, yoga, massage, dance, music, and creative ideas to the Hawthorne Holistic Health and Community Cultural Center. I'm a Registered Nurse by training, burnt out after 20+ years of pill pushing and seeing that a much simpler solution - eating right and exercise - can cure many ills. Of course the biggest cure for illness is a Healthy Mindset. Being mindful of how you think, being fulfilled in life, living on purpose, and having a health conscious and healthy mindset, and most importantly being happy produce health far more than any medication or any other action you take. You must love yourself and love living!

I was born in one of South America's poorest countries - Guyana and raised there until I was 8. Then moved to Milwaukie, Oregon and hence traveled and lived in over 22 countries. I love being international, have wild travel adventures, and speak three languages.

I went to nursing school in New York City, lived in Paris, London, and all over Germany for two most memorable years. I studied Nutrition through the Nutritional Therapy Association and am a perpetual student of life and love~!
